About The Artist
Minnesota born artist Erik Andersen began being interested in art and design at a young age. His parents were both involved in design and creation. He attended the The Art Institutes International MN, where he studied traditional, fundamentals of design and got his degree in graphic design. Erik has since explored several mediums including photography, sculpture, digital painting and industrial design. Erik is building his career as an Independent Artist in Minneapolis and is constantly adding to his portfolio. He has built a small art studio in his home complete with a custom built computer that takes up the majority of the space. He is influenced heavily by the expansive works of Terry Gilliam. As well as digital artists Android Jones, Keith Thompson and Feng Zhu.
